Applying for Community Housing Provider Status

APPLICATION TO COMMUNITY HOUSING REGULATORY AUTHORITY

The Whare Ora Development Trust has applied the the Community Housing Regulatory Authority to gain a mandate to support Māori develop and gain access to housing through access to the Income Related Rent Subsidy for those on the NZ Housing Register.

The Whare Ora Development Trust will partner with IWI to deliver housing solutions for Māori, by Māori.

The Trust is already working with the following Trusts and related communities to develop opportunities and solutions for local whānau and the homeless for the construction of warm, dry and affordable whare.
